CLEAR INFORMATION. BETTER QUESTIONS.

Business Reporting

I help businesses turn the records they already have into clearer reporting, so owners and teams can understand performance and decide what to look at next.

The problem comes first.

A business can have plenty of data and still struggle to answer simple questions: What sold during this period? Which orders need attention? What is happening with stock? Reporting should connect the records to the decisions you need to make.

How I can help

From discussion to delivery

  1. Identify the decision

Start with the questions you need to answer and who needs the information.

  2. Review the data

Look at a suitable sample or description of the available records and agree what can be reported.

  3. Build the reporting view

Organize the measures and summaries around the agreed scope and audience.

  4. Review & refine

Check the figures against the source records and review whether the report answers the original questions.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Questions, answered.

What kinds of information can we discuss reporting on?

Sales, orders, inventory, and other operational records are useful starting points. What can be delivered depends on the data available, its quality, and your reporting requirements.

Do you provide advanced predictive analytics?

My current service focuses on business reporting and practical operational visibility. I am continuing to develop my data-analysis skills; advanced predictive analytics is not part of the service described here.

Can you connect to our existing system?

We first need to check how that system makes its data available and what access is permitted. An integration or reporting approach can be agreed after that review.

What should I send for an initial discussion?

Describe the question you need answered, the type of records you keep, and how often you need a report. An anonymized sample can help once we have discussed the scope; do not send confidential customer records in the initial enquiry.
